this is amazing... i like the strong contrast, the spontaneity of the action; the framing, the looking from higher-up... and... oh well, it's just a really great shot. i can't say why, really. there's so much details going on, such richness to it. it feels alive! the water is beautiful, too.

i think its the whole spontaneous and lively feel of it that struck me (am i repeating myself yet? ). it reminds me, somehow, of this photo album section in a rock magazine, in each issue, they do this 'dead rock star's last fatal movements' album. they basically find ppl who look like overdosed-to-death rock stars (it looks better than it sounds) and pay them to dress like the rock stars and re-produce the last fatal scenes before their death, and take pictures of it. what i like about it is that nearly all the pictures are very blurred, and u don't see the face of the guys very well... but the point is, they have such liveliness to them, they look very real, very spontaneous... the movements are very well captured, very natural. your picture reminds me exactly of that. (in case u're curious, it's BANG magazine, sold in Ethe U.K)

i dunno what to say, except that i really connect with this picture. it's beautiful, and more, it's alive. well done.
